About Area Neighborhoods: Bird Key

Nestled between the sparkling Sarasota shoreline and Lido Key is Bird Key, a private, gated enclave of 510 homes. A boater's paradise, Bird Key boasts deep-water canals and a private yacht club. Bird Key is connected to the mainland by the John Ringling Causeway for convenient access to Downtown Sarasota, yet living here feels like being a world away. Here you will find palatial beachfront estates and charming waterfront and off-water homes - but no high-rise condominiums. Bird Key captures the pristine feel of Florida days of old, surrounded by the glistening waters of Sarasota Bay.
